Don’t let people tell you that you can’t do it. If they do they are just full of themselves. Its just parts held together by bolts. No matter how big a problem you run into with cars you should just look at it that way. Because realistically thats all it is. Then do it put together a kit and start Selling it, if you can source that many VQ’s and get a kit together and start Selling it why wouldn’t you? Everyone who wants a cheaper source would have it, and you would be getting a shitload of sales
I myself am seriously caught between going with P2 and getting a turbo or doing the VQ35. One way or another, by the end of the summer i’ll have already got all the parts to do what I need 
The thing about the VQ35DE swap that’s going to kill you is the wiring. You’re using parts of the VQ and parts of the QR harness. Not to mention you’ll still have to wire up the NATS module and mount it. I think the NATS module is only $400 or so. You’ll still need to purchase a key and then have Nissan plug in the consult II and program the key, NATS and ECU to work together (only like $40 bucks at sunridge nissan).

Why would wiring be a big problem, just get a wiring diagram for both cars, take the harnesses and build it to work together. I work in a welding shop, the mount kit would just be a matter of taking a tape measure and going around collecting numbers. If I was doing it for a friend it might be worth my time. But in all honesty between working on my own cars, work, and my social life I don’t have time or the required interest to really get into that kind of thing.
Sell your Spec and just buy mine :E
