Vredestein rubber?

I have been looking at getting a new set of tires for the vette and stumbled across these.

Tread wear is rated at 280 and Zo6 guys seem to think they work good on a road track as well as in a straight line.

Should I spend ~400 on a set of 295/35/18’s
or should I go ~575 on a set of 305/35/18 nitto’s
or should I spend ~400 on the Vredestein’s and then buy a set of drag radials?

how much do you drive? maybe just a pair of DRs will last a season

can you fit 315s? how wide are the wheels? 9.5?

my rims are 10.5 wide but they are 18’s so its hard to find much wider then 305’s without jumping to 335’s

I think I might buy a set of these…anyone concur?

at 400 for a set of 4 thats cheap, get them and get some DRs for the track
