VW FMIC ??

Im putting together a car for a friend and he has a 04 jetta but gave me a FMIC kit for a 01. Is that going to be a problem? Will I need a BOV and a inlet pipe to make the kit work?

and a muffler bearing

nope… it isn’t going to be a problem… all the years had the same intake and diverter setup…

what kit do you have?

So can I use the stock Intake and Diverter or does he need an aftermarket set? Its just some junk ebay kit i think. Where does that senser that bolts to the top of the SMIC go now?

you can use w/e inter cooler you want as long as it works for the application. My buddy bakc home has a turbo Omni that is using an intercooler off of like a big pack truck lol

Funny to see a trubo mini that is 4 tires and one big ass intercooler.

the deal is that I just uesed the stock outlet pipe of the turbo, this has the OEM diverter bung already in it… so if you keep that, then just retain the stock diverter and you’ll be good to go… just replace the second pipe to the front mount and from the front mount to the throttle body…

if there is no MAP sensor bung on the new stuff, then you’re going to need one… iu have an aluminium one that you can copy if you want… i was goign to weld mine directly into an endtank, or just mild steel it into the piping.

his car won’t run if you don’t plug that sensor in.
