What does everyone think about the new rabbit? I think its a cool car, especially for the price. There really isn’t any german car that is in the price range and I think this could compete with the HHR/Caliber and some of the other subcompacts to do very well, I just wish it was lighter

someone told me they were a lot smaller.
i thought the golf started some where around 18k… well the 4dr of the rabbit is 17k
It’s 1000 lbs overweight (o.k. 500 for a “modern” version).
I like it in white with the option body kit and the larger 5 spoker wheels. check the Vdub website.

truth.
My opinion
The Rabbit costs more than a Corolla or Civic
2007 Rabbit 2-Door $14,990
City fuel economy 22 mpg
Highway fuel economy 30 mpg
2007 Civic DX $14,560
City fuel economy 30 mpg
Highway fuel economy 38 mpg
2007 Corolla CE 4-door $14,205
City fuel economy 32 mpg
Highway fuel economy 41 mpg
It has 5 cylinders so it could have an awesome exhaust note
I would only get a TDi one or TSi
