Too answer you second question…no i have not raced my Stock WRX against a 2.0t b/c it hasnt been stock in months.
By the way irrogant statements like yours piss me off!

MY friend would be down to race you if you think your stock wrx can take a chipped 2.0t lol …and all he has is a slightly modded 1.8t … chip / turbo back… But I assume you have done more too it? So what wrx has 225hp right? well thats from the crank, FWD is generally about 15% (gti’s 11% :-D), RWD is around 18% and AWD is 22-25%. So what 169- 175whp. stock 06 gti 190whp -210 ft/lbs. of tq, a chipped gti dyno’s around 225whp - 280wtq.- dawm slow
OMG, flap flap flap flap flap

?
I love the fact that you generalize drivetrain loss numbers.
And yes, 225whp is damn slow.

I’m glad you loved it:D from 190 to the crank to 250 is a pretty big gain for just a chip putting out around 300 ft./lbs. of torque ya their pretty slow, even though an sti has 250whp and 266wtq. They do run with sti’s I’m sorry to say maybe not beat destroy them but I guess it all depends on the driver. 225-235whp my bad yes its their not insane numbers but I was just trying to make a point.

if your gt28r gets spanked by your scooby you need to call apr for your money back cause theres something seriously wrong with your software map. check out vortex, the average 1.8L APR gt28r map puts down 295hp/299tq at the Wheels. :eyebrow:im curious, what boost are you running?
