Walmart to offer iphone unlimited data and calls for $45 / month

6Gb of data/Unlimited Calls/txt two iPhones AT&T and its 140ish a month with my company discount.

However work pays the bill either way

I have traveled all over the US the past couple years and never had an issue with service the only times I did were in the absolute middle of no where Missouri but Verizon didn’t get service either.

Almost forgot…I get a $50 Stipen for my cell phone bill monthly so I guess its not that bad!

I looked into this pretty in depth last week as I was trying to figure out a way to save some money since me and the wife pay $160 a month on Verizon after a pretty decent work discount.

All the reviews on it were pretty horrible. A ton of people said they don’t tether or stream anything and they get warnings from Straight Talk saying that they are streaming and if they continue their service will be dropped. I’m not sure of the cap on the data but there were people saying they were just web browsing and checking facebook moderately and received the warnings.

With using my phone for work and business I can’t really be watching my use that closely and worry about them cancelling my service just because I checked facebook one too many times.

That sounds like a problem that one call to customer service should resolve. Hope you speak Hindi.

Well the reviews typically continue to say that a call to customer service gets them nowhere and they’re told that they must be streaming/tethering to use that much data. All in an impossible to understand accent reading a script.

have you checked the new plans, they usually save people money, its the insurances etc that get peoples bills crazy high… and premium messaging

Bumping this in hopes that maybe someone made the switch to prepaid with a nexus 4 and can share some experiences. Cutting my phone bill in half sounds pretty good

If you use callingmart, you can use a discount coupon for 3 percent off your refill and no taxes. Been buying from them for a couple years now, I pay with paypal also.
