Too bad it mounts in a position only good for video and not photography.
Well I was posting this more for the idea of how to do this, change it for however way you want to mount it, isn’t that what all of us are about… moding?
People have been using these setups for years. Without a wide angle lens the shots aren’t too great though.
You would have to run brackets down the seat, out the window and down the side of the car down a few feet if you want some decent shots. Not worth it.
But if video is your thing, it could be useful.
i enjoy bumper cams the most. they can be had locally for less than $200, and even come with night vision. theres the wireless type as well. all u need after that is the receiver, a small LCD to see or direct hookup to something that records video.
i’ll be putting one in my left front bumper for the drive to calgary one day.
