And in my experience with ASE’s, if you’re good at taking a standardized test, you too can be an ASE master. I gave my wife a sample test, and she did just fine on it.
I never understood this. It’s because most ASE guys have grown so accustomed to a dealer position working on the same thing day in and day out. Anybody can take a test as Jason said. Working on it is another story. Euro’s aren’t bad at all to work on. If you have the proper tools it’s even easier than alot of American/Import. I’ve never even met Jason but from his posts, work I’ve seen on here, if I ever had an issue I’d surely send it to him and I own my own shop.
Yes, you need to actually pay attention to how a part was engineered, and why it was engineered that way rather than just assuming it’s a bit of plastic with pop clips.
