Oh… and The bible is under the “Biblical Literature” or “religious” genre… So it created its own classification. Where as books about the creation of the earth through science are in the “Non-Fiction” section

depends on what book store ur at really, at the borders by the galleria there is a science and neo science sections, and some of it is even in the small astronomy section.
could you cite where you got the information from please. ive read many claims attempting to debunk the ark and ive never once read that.
That was from my biology teacher…I mean there are more flaws in the bible then that.
Something that was explained to me, sometime back in HS, is that the bible is not something that we necessarily take literally as fact, its a collection of stories to show an overall idea or theme.
When you take the bible literally, you have people who are missing the point of the stories who just want to debunk the story.
With that said, I dont like organized religion. However, any man of any faith can agree that commandments 5-10 are a good idea.
This is the dumbest thing said about Atheism on this thread. The arguments for Atheism comes from an incredibly large amount of scientific data and material.
When it comes down to references Atheism wins hands down.

no they dont win hands down in fact in most debates they lose because their idea takes more faith than a christians. Some atheists just dont believe anything, not the big bang not anything, which to me isnt atheism its laziness. Lets make fun of everyone elses beleifs and when they ask us what we believe we will just say nothing, so we cant be ridiculed for it. Its a nice little safety net but in debates it doesnt hold any water. And even top scientists in their field will tell you they still dont know where the universe started from, since it started from nothing. They dont know how the neurons or the “point” got there. They still dont know what holds the universe together, hence the super collider. It wasnt a dumb statement at all. Atheism is very disorganized and is used for people who dont feel liek getting into debates because if you believe in nothing noone can say your wrong.
i would need to look into it but if it hasnt been raised by any of the scientists that have debated it yet then i doubt its authenticity.
I’m not talking about agnostics which is what you are mistaking Atheism for. Modern Atheism is the belief for most not all in the scientific theories of life and creation, it also deals with the use of the scientific approach to problem solving and investigation.
I understand that scientists don’t have the answer for every question but you know, what I’m ok with that. I’m ok with not knowing where we came from because I know one day we will. Just like we didn’t know what was on the other side of the ocean or if the earth was round or why plants are green, or the sky is blue. I don’t need the instant gratification like you do.
I am an Atheist and I believe in something its called science.
And if you want to talk about dissorganization you can look no further than the continuing schisms with in the Chritian faith.
Agnostics are the mybe crowd, they do believe that god may exist they are not necesarily in the same category as atheists. There are many more things in my opinion, and like i said i was contemplating atheism while reading, A LOT, there are many things in science that we need to assume for them to be possible. Many more things need to be assumed in science than in christianity. I simply could not wrap my head around saying well, if something happens like this, then it happens like this, we will deffinitly get this result, and everything from beggining to middle has to be assumed, and i dont agree with that. There was so much more refernces and literature to cite and support christianity than science, and every other religion on the planet really. Nearly 65% of atheists admit they havent even read the bible. I guarantee the number is higher than that but many of them dont want to answer no,because the thought of denouncing something before you even do any research or work into the subject is ludicrous. I could go into a huge rant about how our society and media are very pro atheist and trying to make god seem non existent and how we were warned about this, but i have to sleep kuz i just worked 16 hours.
