Watch Crew: What to buy?

IWC Big Pilot [/thread]

Zenith has some super bad-ass looking watches and is was recently taken over by LVMH which suits your conspicuous consumption habits perfectly it appears.

They have some sick movements and totally ill-looking watches.

I myself just started a collection this year.

i purchased a vintage Omega from the 60’s as a dress watch, wearing it now, and purchased a Chenevard Skeleton watch that looks way more baller than it actually is.

As i was telling Josh and Kyle the other day, it looks nice but there are a variety of features of the watch that lead me to beleive it’s just a cheapo china-watch despite coming from Germany

the hour and second hands are not aligned properly, the band is wearing prematurely and some of the design cues are totally superfluous.

i also had to have both the Omega and the Skeleton watch serviced immediately which added to the costs quite a bit. Servicing watches isnt always cheap, i have to pay $80 because there is no one else that i can find to do it.

Do not buy a quartz, battery powered watch. If you do you’re a fag. yeah they keep better time and they dont require any servicing but an EG hatch gets way better mileage than a Porsche 911 and who the fuck cares.

buy awesome shit to make stupid people wish they were’nt poor, but they are so fuck them stupid poor losers.
