A quick wrist shot:
thank you… less tissot talk and more hublot shots.
in fact, maybe we should split this thread into “awesome watches thread” and “quartz watches that are fucking gay thread”
I was out with the dude from an account i manage today that has the Patek moonphase triple calendar… refresher on the pic:
I havce less equity in my fucking house than this watch costs.
That Patek is fucking gorgeous!!
Great taste.
that’s super baller
That’s like a $70K watch…god damn. I needs a new watch…
I like that Patek Bing. The Nautilus is starting to grow on me a bit as well lately. I am thinking of an AP 25807, but I haven’t seen one in person yet and they were discontinued a few years ago. I kind of want an RM 05 as well, but that would be a huge purchase.
just buy a wholesale lot of them and wear the one you like and keep the rest at the back of the kitchen drawer with the cutlery.
The AP triple date is a fantastic looking watch, there was one up for sale on timezone about a year ago with a blue shark strap. I almost pulled the trigger on that one and somebody beat me to it.
Do you remember how much they were asking for it? I only want one if it is on bracelet.
I believe it went for $5900.
That is a really solid deal.
Definitely a great deal, Armstrong Rockwell in Hartford had one for $7500 a couple months ago with another strap, not sure what is was thought. I figure a good condition used one with bracelet would go for something in the area of $7K. I’m scouting for Panerai deals currently, any suggestions??
What Panerai are you looking for?
Just a 000
I’m looking at picking up a citizen watch for christmas, I have heard good things about them. I picked up a cheapo Invicta watch online the other day and it should have been shipped in time for thanksgiving but the company is slow as fuck and they didnt ship it in time.
any recommendations for good deals on citizen watches? opinions?
here’s a recommendation, don’t get one…
Why? Not everyone can afford a Patek or Piaget. Plus, Getting parts for Citizens is extremely easy compared to a lot of the other watch companies out there.
Where are you looking? 000 was my first PAM and I still wear it a decent amount.
What do you currently own?
why? because japanese movements are cheaply made…
