Great decision buying a nice watch before you bought a house(sounds crazy but im srs). I had a two ~$1,500 watches that I sold when I bought my house(for no real reason) and now I would like something nice to wear when presenting myself professionally but am having trouble justifying it(wanting house stuff and saving for new house). I suppose once im not spending 3-5k a month building the FD I will though. :tup:

Do it while I’m young. I didn’t touch the “house fund” to buy it, but just like you…I wouldn’t be able to justify it when I have a house.
i just took it out of my kids college fund… there is still a bit left in there for an IWC.

I scoped out a Breitling @ Scherer’s today. It will be my next watch purchase, but not until I get into a house…or 2012…whichever comes first.
if i catch a navitimer datora for a deal i will buy it…
every other breitling can eat a dick though

I think it is pretty simple, you spend your spare money on whatever it is that makes you the most happy per dollar.
