Yep, it’s swiss, but mine is/was a quartz model. Just a cheapie. Hamilton is a great watch company, though. I would gladly own another one.

Carrera is a classic Tag design. I like it, but for the price of them I also really like a lot of others.
That’s a solid choice.
My next watch is a Grand Carrera. Most people consider Tag to be like the Bose of watches. Good quality, expensive, but there are better options.
The Day/Date model will be my next watch.

i tried on the titanium day date at the local tag dealer… very awesome piece.
Beck, i’d say TAG is better than an equialent to BOSE, but i feel the perspective. I’d rock a tag proudly and would happily have picked up a day-date instead of my speedy… i just happened to find a great deal on the speedy first.
problem with TAG is that they also make a bunch of shyte watches… F1, LINK etc. in quartz versions… yeccchhhk

I have the CV2010.BA0786, picked it up back in Nov 09. It’s been my daily since and I love it. I am glad I bought it then because I see prices on them are now about 800 more than I paid back then for it.
I like it, but as people said there are a lot of watches in that price range (especially since it’s now going for over 2k).

so i busted my Speedmaster the other day setting the date at the wrong time… triple calendar movements are a pain in the balls… should have read the manual first.
It’s in for a full OMEGA CTR right now.
In the meantime, trying to figure what i want to do for a strap long term. It’s on the NOS vintage Omega calf skin strap right now but i want to put it on an Omega Deployment.
I bought a 16mm deployment a few weeks ago but couldnt find a suitable strap so i bought a 18mm deployment too…

WUS…paid in the 6-700 range for it. Solid deal. It’s in great shape. Got it fitted at an Oris AD. Guy gave me some tips on it and everything.
Sucks about the Omega! Wind it back a few hours next time!!! I really prefer that speedmaster on a bracelet, as I stated before.
