i have a feeling there are basically no Oris reps out there.
besides, it’s actually really easy to tell a rep… they feel like shit other than some reps of Rolex etc. but even then you can usually tell.
just buy from a reputable seller… lots of good Oris’s on ebay and WUS… same with Hamilton for a first foray into swiss autos.

This applies, if you ever held one of these watches in your hand and have hands on experience. I don’t have any hands on time with these watches, so I will go to a local authorized seller and get info there. mostly likely I eventually will buy online, but right now just going to do a lot of research until i’m comfortable with dropping the DOLLA DOLLA BILLS without seeing an item in person

have you never bought used car parts on the internet? It’s really no different. Most people buy wheels on the internet for more than I paid for my watch. I’ve had it for quite some time now. I wear it every day and I still love looking at it. Seriously, hit up watchuseek.com and find any automatic Hamilton/Oris that you like the looks of and can afford. The sellers there are true timepiece enthusiasts.

I was referring to PVD’ed cases. Also, those bezels are most defintely aftermarket. They offer, nicer looking diamond bezels on some models…yes.
