I always had a thing for watches because they are beautiful, intricate little machines.
So, I ended up getting a Diesel DZ7221 as a gift about two years ago.
I love this watch but sometimes its so out of place. So I figured I should get a daily inexpensive watch that looks decent and has a bit of quality behind it. also not have to worry if I damage it. So I was about to buy an invicta (lol), but then I did some research…
which led me to buy this great little watch: Seiko SSB059
for the price, its a great quality watch. the only detail about this watch which bothers me is when the clasp is closed it doesn’t look like its fully closed even though it is. there is so much wiggle room, but that’s to be expected when buying a inexpensive watch but I was satisfied that it was a Seiko and the case looks so clean.

Side rant… I don’t understand why didnt blackberry put a fucking auto focus mechanism in their flagship phone BB 9900. It boggles my mind till this day…I’m sure Bing can relate to this loll /endrant
Now, on to my point.
as you can see, I don’t have the budget like some of you guys do, and I’m already itching for another watch. This time, I want something bit more closer to the entry level luxury.
Some of you guys would suggest brands like Tissot, Victorinox, hamilton, or even Oris.
So I did some looking around and Tissot appealed to me a lot. They look amazing with a nice affordable price tag with a good reputation for quality, and I landed on this watch… Tissot T-Race T048
I’d like to hear from some of the Tissot owners on here about your experiences with the brand or even this particular model it self.
What do you guys think about this brand?
Do you have any other suggestions for me in terms of brand?
My Diesel also has a huge face, but I love it, they almost all do.

I have been watching ebay and other sources for a used example. I found 1 that wanted too much and had the wrong band.

Either way I will probably thin the collection (my IWC and maybe Omega) when I make that purchase.

My low budget collection. All but two are from members on here. I hadn’t worn a watch in years and for some reason I picked one up last summer and it’s all been down hill ever since. I like what I see in this thread. Unfortunately, most are a little out of my budgetary range. Keep posting them up. Thanks to those of you (you know who you are) that got me started…I think.
Sorry about the photo. Bad lighting no matter what I did. Two with the reflections are a Tissot T-Race and a 50’s era Benrus. Two of these I bought withing the last two weeks.
I think the Seiko watches are excellent for the money.

ya this one was approximately $450…guess watches are typical. diesel watches are somewhat weird looking and unique lol

I don’t know enough about watches and what to look for to buy a big tag item VIA second hand market too much replicas in rotation for me to even considering buying used now. maybe in time.
The only time I wore it my wrist almost turned purple. Even with the extra factory links, it was one or two too tight. Extra’s on order. Guy the PO had small wrists. You know what they say about guys with small wrists.
