I absolutely love my GMT. I was afraid that I was never going to wear it, compared to my sub but I actually like GMT’s better than Subs now. More complicated movement and the symmetry on the bezel eases my OCD.
Love the coke bezel, someday I’m going to pick up a pepsi.

when i first saw it they could be had for $15k-ish… now you cannot find them under $20k…
That Port is hideous. There are so many nice variants of the 5001 to choose from.

@bing, No problem at all. @Beck, The GMT movement really isn’t more complicated than the Sub movement. Just a different hour wheel, minute pinion, cannon pinion and second wheel.

i agree with him on pretty much everything too. the sub $1000 watch category is about to be upended in a big way by this piece but it’s also true that the Apple Watch is a disposable piece of tech that will obsolesce every 3 years where as an Omega Speedmaster or Rolex Submariner will be just as relevant 25 years from now as it is today.

since this thread is active lately I picked this up in February and I love everything about it I just never get a chance to wear it and need to purchase a winder soon until I have a big boy job that I wouldnt fuck the watch up every day wearing.
