Watch Geeks - Opinion on first "Swiss Watch"

:barf:

HAA HAAAA…i saw this on my cruise in the bahamas…looks better in person

Tag’s are very nice. I just purchased an automatic aquaracer a couple weeks ago, but if I had the money, I would have bought a seamaster hands down! You can travel any place in the world with the most affluent businessmen and every one of them would know what an Omega Seamaster is.

I have the Movado Valor, mirror face, and absolutely love it, not sure if that gets me into the club though :gotme:

I love my valor (tungsten) and my first movado (Jr. Sport) is awesome as well. I would love to someday own a Hublot Big Bang or a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak series but, they are both wickedly expensive. The Hublot starts around $20k and some of the Royal Oak series go deep into the $100,000’s.

Right…good one…it’s amazing how many people you talk shit to on this forum…people you don’t even know. You must really hate your life man to single out so many strangers like that. It’s cool man, I’ll take where I’m at in life at age 23 over yours any day. You’re pathetic. And you spelled Fiero wrong to boot.

Most Big Bangs go for around 12, the special editions get expensive. AP ROOs on the other hand are wildly pricey

I’m developing more expensive tastes :frowning:

Even more expensive :frowning:

I hate the PAM submersibles. Nice choice on the 111 though  LMK if you want to try on a PAM, they’re big.

Its easy for him to talk shit when hes using his keyboard and lives over 900+ miles away.

Back on topic, I don’t know the first thing about watches but some of these are very elegant.

Oh really? I don’t think I’d look good with a large faced watch… maybe I’ll take you up on that sometime soon. The 111 was about $3900 used.

$3900 is pretty fair depending on the year it was made. Yeah 44mm is massive.

PAM is a great brand, but you have to love the look of a bigger watch. At 44mm they will wear similarly to the 45mm OPO. Also, by just changing the strap you can completely change the look of the watch…

:word: that is not a bad price at all

are you looking at timezone now?

(I think a pam 111 is going to be my next “large” purchase, they look amazing in person.)

I will likely go 005 or possibly 113 next.

I’m being allured by the 88…but 111 is more than likely my next pick up, unless I get $$$ for a 253 or 233

I’ve been deciding on a nice flieger. I want a Stowa, but after last months credit card bill may settle for an Archimede

That’s pretty sad. I’d take where I am at life now, and where I was at age 23, over yours anyday. You don’t want to get in to that dick swinging contest, from what I can see, you won’t fare well :gay2:

I’m gonna have to agree with the suggestion of Bell & Ross - always liked how those look, much more than a typical sport/chrono (TAGs are nice but never really “did” it for me).
