Watching NFL on Fox in HD?

Anyone else noticing a “stutter” or a freeze frame or two right when they snap the ball? It’s like they’re dropping a frame or something.

I’m watching on Time Warner…it’s driving me nuts!

I switched over to the SD broadcast, and it’s not doing it…its only on the HD…

Not doing it on Dish Network HD.

I noticed something about the HD on Fox during the ball games. Almost like its going into slow motion when the pitcher throws. Not sure if its my TV or the broadcast. Fox HD baseball is the only thing that does it.

Didnt notice anything so far during the Bills game though.

maybe a bandwidth issue since so many people are prob watching it?

No, it was doing it last week too…pretty much every time they snap the ball. Basically, from when there’s no movement on screen to when there is action…

Guess I’m not the only one seeing it…the guys over at AVS have noticed:

EDIT: Also, fox is the only station doing it. NBC, CBS, ESPN were all fine… I dunno, curious. I should read thru the whole AVS thread…

Probally a bandwith issue if anything

it did look a little slow once in a while, not really noticing it at snaps though. Was annoying when it flickered from HD to SD for station ID though.

Should have hooked the rabbit ears up, thats one of the few HD signals that comes in super easy over the air. Best viewing possible actually. No compression or anything getting in the way of that. Always next week to give it try

Discovered the clarity of Rabbit Ear HD when TWC wasn’t allowed to show Bills games. If it wasn’t for the sabres I’d contemplate dropping cable TV and just using a roof antenna, don’t watch it that much anyway.

on verizon they switched to non hd for like 20 seconds a few times, it was kinda weird, but no big deal.
