yea just got home from the midnight showing at colonie, def not worth sitting in the theatre for almost 2 hours before it started, nor was it worth the nearly 3 hours that it played for…
wayyyy too hyped up and basically it sucked in my opinion, not to mention all the fuckin creeps in the theatre…nerds, geeks all those degenerates acting retarded.

I hear this movie is an accurate portrayal of the “graphic novel” unlike other superhero movies that make a mockery of the original story to make an entertaining movie. I’m sure fans of “watchmen” before the movie came out will appreciate it where the rest of us maybe disappointed.
I’ll see it when it comes to dvd

I just got back from watching it at IMAX, It’s not your happy feel good super hero movie. It’s got a good amount of gore. I could have done without the blue nakedness.

ill watch it but ill rent it on itunes first before i buy the dvd or itunes version of it, from what i’ve seen in previews it should be an accurate account of the novel itself, a refreshing and inviting thing as far as i’m concerned.
saw it last night and it was AMAZING!!!
but i wil say, its not for the simple minded asshats who just want to see blood, gore and people with eyes that can burn through anything.
A friend of mine who saw it and has read the novel said that it helps a lot to read the novel

i didnt read the novel, but i did read a lot about the premisis and i wasnt lost at all. it was a great fucking movie let me tell u. and u know what, i didnt even think it was that long. i was so into the movie it passed right by like any other movie
A couple die-hard watchmen fans loved the movie. I may go see it while its still in the theaters after all
ass holes in movie theaters… AARRRGGGGHHHH I want to punch them. So now I wait for it to come out on bluray, and watch it on my fucking awesome home theater setup.

If you plan on seeing the movie at all I would say its worth the extra few bucks to see it in theatres on the big screen. I didn’t know anything about watchmen prior to last week but read up on it a little bit before going to see the movie and thought the movie was pretty good other than a few things. Like deadbeat said, it didn’t feel like a 3 hour movie at all, never was I thinking to my self when is this going to end. My main gripe with it all is that none of the characters have super powers yet they all seem to have superhuman strength, punching throw bricks and such.
Saw it in IMAX. Well worth the extra money.
