The movie looks great.
Just saw it, wholly unimpressed, i was with friends who read the graphic novel and said while not as good, the movie was a great representation. I went in with no prior knowledge of Watchmen and really just didn’t enjoy it too much. The beginning was slow and flowed really badly, the middle was actually really good when it finally picked up, but then it backed off again and the ending was a big let down. Not too mention there was way too much glowing blue cock.
Wow this movie fucking sucked.
I give it a 5 out of 10 solely for some good ass and tits.
Its jumped all the fuck around, none of the characters really made sense, where they came from or why they were superheroes except the big blue dudebro.
This movie bored the shit out of me, Its 2 hours and 44 fucking minutes.
There are some cool graphics and shit but It was a waste of 3 hours and 10 bucks.
Unless you read the graphic novel and want to see it for that reason, fine.

Sorry i had no interest in this movie, looks like it has good graphics and money into it but, i dont know anything about it, and could careless.
i bought tickets online today to see it later tonight. bleh. i def did hear theres sooo much donger in it, not looking forward to that. this thread bums me out that this is how im spending my night now.

they tried to do a very large amount of material in a condensed form… imagine them trying to do lord of the rings in a single movie. it would have SUCKED. I dunno… that being said, should they even have tried to do it in one? or should slack be cut… im still going to see it for the shit of it i think. it couldnt be worse than Confessions of a Shoppaholic which the woman dragged me to…
All chalked up to a bad childhood, but that character is the only reason why I am not utterly hating this movie

I also was not impressed at all. I never read the novel but am pretty big into DC. If I remember, all these characters are supposed to be similar to actual superheros that we know (hint- heres an easy one, Manhatten=Superman). I guess I should have expected this to be more of a cult film. Still, as a film, it fucking sucked. The graphics were pretty cool and again, the development of Rorschach was awesome, but as a whole I left wanting to punch every nerdy mother fucker around me in the throat.

Wait, do they have the thing with him trying to find the missing young girl and the dogs? In the ‘book’ that scene is incredible, and if they left it out of the movie that would be a shame.
