Is anyone on NYSpeed from the watertown area or within 20 minutes of Ft Drum,Ny?
If so what is the area like?

I’ve been up to evans mills a bunch…it’s very desolate up there
desolate indeed… my grandma lives in lafargeville, which is near that area, i think thats 20 min from fort drum… but we have a cottage in the 1000 islands area
My wife is from up that way. My Family also had a cottage up there for many years
like Sedlmeier said…it is VERY desolate up there. I personally could never live in that type of area.
Ive heard that…only good thing is ill be able to come home often instead of really being up there 24/7…just trying to get an apartment with someone or apartment info…searched on yahoo rela esate and such sites but nm comes up…
i’ll see if my wife has any insight as to where a good place to look for housing might be found.
