Your money is worth far more in the future if invested properly, then you can imagine. Its referred to as a discount rate or the future value of money, bottom line is its shocking when you look at what a few thousand dollars invested over 40 years turns out to be at 12%
As a 26 year old retiree, trust me saving will bring greater satisfaction then a car. Besides you can enjoy cars down the road, and they will be nicer cars

Varies greatly, my new half assed career is as a property developer and a venture banker, I also am doing some work with a hedge fund from Tel Aviv. Interest for lending or investing can vary from as little as 2% annually to 40+% annually.
Well at 40% annual gain, you can take out a 10% loan and put that into the 40% savings =) wouldn’t that be nice

Sold one of my businesses, the rest of my life takes very little time to manage and makes a ton more, it was designed that way.

Simply put, yes. I don’t want to monopolize this thread any further, I’ve derailed it enough already. I’m working on an autobiography(among a few other books) and will make everyone I know aware after its published to further understand my wacky life.
I’m 24 and haven’t even done nearly half of what you may have done. I don’t even think I can say half. Not many people at all can say they’ve accomplished all that, most people that have accomplished all that are in the 50’s and 60’s. Hat’s off to you, man
