i will be out there in a few weeks… maybe it is time for the turbo diesel
Diesel is $2.73/gallon here too… those fuckers. I don’t understand that at all; In Pittsburgh, diesel is cheap, but here it’s expensive.
At least diesels get better mileage. I read today that some car companies plan on releasing Direct Injection gasoline engines in the next few years to get better mileage… (injecting fuel into the cylinders instead of into the intake manifold to make more power and better mileage)
They use a differnt grade of gas out there. Part of there nazi emissions. Plus they have more tax per gallon, than us.
i just paid $2.40/gal for 87 oct in NY
I’ve been telling you fuckers the gas prices out here are rediculous. Like you said, the best you can get is 91 and right now I’m paying about $2.50 at the ‘cheap’ stations and it’s well over $2.60 at Chevrons and such. Diesel is usually a bit cheaper than 87 out here… I wonder if they don’t sell much Diesel in La Jolla so it’s marked up a ton extra.

Pitt I.D. = free bus ride
1.9t > 1.6
If you come across any cheap diesel Rabbits, let me know… I’m thinking about buying a car just for delivery.
