im at ub in the library. they have remote desktop locked up. i even found the executable for it, but it wont run, application is blocked. any web clients that i can use to get a RD connection?
gotta install software for it, which i cant do at school
VNC
the have a java viewer accessible over the web
it’s free too
i used to keep a cpy of the executable in my UBFS space named “rd.doc”. Id transfer it to whatever library machine I was working on, rename it “rd.exe” then run it. The block looks for the specific process name, this method never failed me.

logmein.com…can use it even without any java
RealVNC
TightVNC
Also allow for java logins via browser, both free. RealVNC being more featured. TightVNC being more efficent.
