can anyone fill me in on why this stupid road is taking years to fix?
Because it’s built on solid rock. The kind they can’t even drill through. Instead of just digging it up with an excavator like they would normally do to put down the new water/sewer pipes they’re having to blast a ton of it.
A friend who works over there had a long talk with one of the contractors last month. The guy said it was the biggest pain in the ass his company has ever worked on.
