So I’m driving down McKinley, away from the mall going towards the village of Hamburg and I see this red, thing, driving towards me. At first I’m thinking it might be some weird old VW or some rare old car. As it gets closer I can clearly tell its constructed of fiberglass. As it gets nearer I can tell that it looks pretty flawless, great gleaming read paint. The over all size of this “thing” seems to be about the same size as a Chevy s-10, but with a lower roofline, more like a car. Now what really throws me, as it drives by, is that it has a flat pick-up like bed as a back. Has anyone seen this thing? I can’t really say what it looks like. It had round headlights almost perfectly circular. The fenders seemed very flared, but the rims/tires didn’t seem to fill them well. Anyways if someone has seen this thing let me know about it!
So I’m sitting at Quick Fill, filling my tank with some fresh super duper ultra mega fuel, right around dusk. Its to the point of being dark enough to use your head lights, but light enough to only use fogs if you have them. So as I’m leaning, filling away, hoping its not too much, I see this grey Jeep Liberty pulling in. Evidently he must have seen me because just about the time I looked at it, his stereo system started to bump and his blue neon lights came one. Some other tasteful mods include a crome deer slayer, crome tail light covers, chrome nerf bars, fog lights all over the front, 20” chrome rims, and a siq limo tint. Of course he speeds up to the pump next to me and gets out. He gives a leaning look over to my car and starts to pump his gas. The guy is a slightly overweight white male. When I saw the car I instantly thought “slam pig wagon” and was hoping to see some slut bag walk out. Anyways, a few minutes later he walks over and asks “Hey man is that a kit car or is that the real deal?”……I kind of look at him thinking WTF? So I say “yah it’s a kit car, its really a 91 Lumina” His face turns from stern to a grin, and says “No shit! I do all the work on my Jeep and that’s a really good kit, I couldn’t even tell it was fake.” I respond with “Yah the guy that made it did a really good job” I then leave the lot slowly and boot it leaving the lot a little and he looks right at me, as my car is louder then shit.
So far it’s an interesting start to the week!
