I need recommendations for a welder.
I’m finishing up my turbo honda and need a downpipe that is t3 flanged 5bolt converted to a vband 3in and alliend with a vband t3 turbocharger.
I also want to custom build a grill guard like the ones on pickups for that same car to protect the front bumper, it’s gonna be basic but need to be customized to bolt on the shock absorber metal piece of the car.

are you looking to make the DP out of stainless or mild steel? whats your budget? can the car be dropped off for the work?(if so, how long can it be left?)

no worries man, I am swamped with projects anyway… plus I can only di it if its mild steel, I don’t TIG yet

just to clearfy a bit,
I have a stainless steel downpipe, the 5bolt flange on it is steel though, so might be able to weld on it
also i would try as hard as possible not to drop off the car, only the turbo and the downpipe for the fabrication, but for the grill guard i could set something up
also i’m not rich, so i’m on a tight budget,
as i said, all i need is for somebody to weld a vband flange onto the downpipe that i have and match it with the turbo

how would someone doing the welding know if the changes made to the DP with respect to mounting to the turb will respectively fit back onto the car if its not also available for mock-up?
as i said, i just need a vband flange welded on a downpipe instead of the 5 bolt flange that is on it right now, that does not necessarily need the actual car involved much because i already know they will be on the same level when installed on the car so they will bolt right up
ill weld your vband on the downpipe for 30bucs. lemme know.
we can discuss the brush guard for your car as well. gimme a better idea of what your looking to get done.
