There is just no reason for anyone but our members to be on there. I told you guys before there isn’t anything but stuff for us to plan our meets and deal with club stuff. So Since club stuff is gay to 90% of this board it offers nothing to the flow of it. Also I don’t have my own server like whitey does and I don’t plan on buying one. With all the useless crap shaggy posts alone our bandwidth and disk space will be non-existant and the site would be down more than its up.
Sell cavy buy better sever.
It’s not a matter of buying a server. That’s the easy part. They aren’t even really that expensive. The hard part is that we would have to buy a connection fast enough to host a server. Whitey happens to have the connection at his workplace.
time to upgrade to cable first

you can build a good server for around a grand. so like she said, thats easy. Now colocation is another story. I lease a rack which gives me space, then i have the bandwidth and the IP spacing that i pay for as well. Thats where it gets expensive and tricky. Luckily i get all for a decent price since i am an employee.
Throwing a server together is not as easy as it seems, but when you do it for a living… its not bad

Difference with NDC Forums…NDC Forums are for club members to event plans, discuss club business and maintain our club. If you are not part of NDC there is no reason for you to be on it. Sorry if that hurts some of your feelinsg but that is the way it is.
Tell you what people start donating money to us and we’ll open it up to people who donate ONLY. 20 bucks a year. Until that happends its staying closed.
