ya, they offered him similar to what i posted above, he rejected. then the y upped it a bit and he rejected again. then they just basically said ‘well we dont want you’. i never heard an exact reason why they(the Giants) went public to say they dont want him. its definatly not the norm to do such a thing.
ya green, i agree his agent is an idiot, but it still comes down to the fact that Burress thinks he is better than he is and he believes hes worth Randy Moss type money/status.

I hope Plex is happy… As to whether or not he’ll be happy, I dunno… I just can’t see how he’ll be happy playing under a coach that is known to be a big disciplinarian (i.e.- fucking asshole) like Coughlin. I hope the best for him, I’ve met him before and he didn’t seem like too bad of a guy. The writing was pretty much on the wall once we signed that guy from S.F.

Whitey - Said it before, I’ll say it again… I dont think I know anything about football because I’m a referee… That has nothing to do with it… You wanna get in my shit because I think I know alot about football, fine… But the officiating has absolutely nothing to do with it. I just pay alot of attention to systems and ideas and stuff because my dream job would be some kind of marketing job with a professional sports team.
