making rules for the p&r and going to the town of colonie for permission to hang out at a lot are COMPLETELY different things.
rules for the p&r should be common sense… just respect it

This will never work as others are saying. I personally would never PAY for a lot, especially when anyone can show up. So now that idea has gone to shit, the only thing you can think of is to relocate. The same shit happened years ago. We started at kohls/MCD and moved onto many other spots before finding that little carwash next to wendys which was perfect or awhile. This is an ongoing thing that will never change. There will always be assholes playing music, burning out and being complete dickheads (K20, try not to refer to them as “Ricans”. Thats borderline racist and not 100% true). Park and Ride seems to be the only spot that will benefit you guys. Having a spot on central avenue is pointless, to many cops and spots are limited. Better off hanging out at the 24-7 walmart in scotia… Also, the main thing is finding a spot that is within reason of a distance from everyone. Not everyone wants to drive to clifton park every night…
what about the mall lots?
Malls don’t want us there.
We need a place we can provide business for 24/7. Simple as that.
Think about it. The only two permament prominent lots in the Capitol region where people hung out for a while was the 24/7 McD’s and the 24/7 DD on Lark street (for bikers) and as of lately we have been banned from both.
what about latham farms it worked last year, itll work this year
oh my… why do you guys keep suggesting new places when a place has already proven to be worthy. A sherrif has stopped by the p&r talked to travis (of all people :crackup), knew he was grilling food and said everything was cool… yeah, lets find another place to chill.
well, im thinking. most of us wont want to pay, but there might be some benefit there to it. hear me out. we could possibly have a list of people that paid into the fund(small monthly amount), sort of like a club membership. you pay, you get on the list and you’re allowed to drive into the lot with ur car. u can have passengers, but youre responsible for whatever stupidity that comes from them. they get in a fight, youre kicked out. they do a burnout in a car, youre kicked out and so on. so this way we’d know that people that are coming are paying people that are commited to this kind of thing and wouldnt want it to go sour. i kinda like the park and ride lot because we can block off all the entrances to it with a car sideways, but the one we let people in through. if we dont know you and youre not on the list you cant just drive in. another benefit of us chipping in might be the possibilty of buying some hot dogs, burgers, soda or something to bring to the lot and eat there. we hang out there kinda late and i get hungry pretty often and everything is pretty much closed in that area at say midnight. we could all kinda help out, ya know? bring a small grill, a spatula or some paper plates or something and have a good time. get out some camping chairs, jsut whatever fits in the car. what do u think?
I thought my ideas were far-fetched. :ahh
no offense, but this is the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard
how else do we keep the unwanteds out? none of us have a private lot we can use
as much as i hate to say it but you cant, most of the places we hangout are public places, there for you cnat have a"list" of people, the only thing you can do is relocate
then, I vote Park and Ride lot. we havent had any serious shitbirds fly in there yet.
most people dont want to go to P&R i think latham farms is cool because its right in the middle, 5 mins from P&R and like 6 or 7 to central. it worked out pretty well last year
Everyone from latham/colonie is going to be cheap asses and be like “oh P&R is too far blah blah blah” fuck latham farms, no one shows up… P&R is proven to be good, why not use it. It’s equally as far as the Wendy’s lot…besides the people coming from rotterdam and schenectady.
Latham Farms had a good turnout MAYBE twice, even then it sucked. I don’t get why everyone is turning away from P&R.
It’s not that we’re turning away, but being naive and expecting it to last is a bit optimistic and we will have this discussion agian.
i personally dont care, i dont mind P&R its like 3 miles from my house. it all depends on who comes thats all
wow…P&R is maybe a 5 min drive from latham farms.
hanging at latham farms is loitering :idiots
why start another discussion when there isn’t a need to? when problems start up at the p&r then it’s time to worry and talk again.
I am still up for the wendys lot…but im up for the P&R spot :banana
Because it’s too late to late “Fire” once the house is burned to the ground
Or do you like “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”?
