perhaps ill bring the roush out and see how close to 400whp i am this summer. lol
Sweet, I definitely come down and hop on that once its all setup.
May others use it for tuning???
Not sure how that will work yet. I will have to see…

YES!!! Dyno Day in the future Im 100% there!
Edit: Dyno/cookout day lol, sorry the food at the swap meet was good.
I can’t understand why it’s taken so long for a local business to get one? Looks like you guys will grab a hold of the AWD community.
Because AWD dynos cost more than 2x a 2WD dyno and other shops have had to sell their dyno because the local people DO NOT support the shop and therefore they can’t afford the dyno. Buffalo is NOT Toronto
I have faith…
But yeah it is not cheap at all…
One of the reasons we waited so long is because someone else said they were getting one and we didn’t want to bump heads.

:eyebrow:
Do you know what an AWD dyno costs?
omfg this is so cool wow  for goin wayyy above and beyond
congrats on the purchase Em
A lot but think of the money this could roll in. I wonder how many AWD dynos are in upstate NY? This could grab a much bigger market then WNY.
Sigh…It is a great purchase…but the return on investment will take years regardless of the use it gets.
kennedys has an awd dyno, but its got unequal rollers, and i dont know if they are even linked (i dont think so)
and i think a place in TO has an AWD dyno, isnt that were all the evo / scoobie guys talk about going ?
anyways, a PROPER awd dyno on THIS side of the border is a godsend. and while dyno time alone might not pay for the dyno, this WILL bring in a bunch of other work for the shop im sure
a dyno sells parts, and a dyno makes it easier to spot problems on a modded car, and a dyno brings in more people who just want to see whats up (and wind up having stuff done in the process) … a dyno is more then the sum of its parts
 very cool. look forward to using this
Lookin good!
exactly. awesome buy!
Over the course of 7 years that dyno has to bring in nearly 1000 dollars a month just to break even, excluding the labor to run it and other factors.
That’s a lot of overhead for WHP bragging rights when you could probably street tune a car to SIMILAR ends…
It’s not like street tuning is that dangerous… You’re usually not frequently exceeding highway speeds. Sure, we’ve all seen motors blow on the dyno, but we’ve also seen a lot of motors blow on the street, usually that’s not catastrophic…
Not hatin, just trying to clear up a lil misconception.
That said, sometimes it is cool to know your power output for bragging rights.
it’s a niche market, and buffalo isn’t a rich city… i hope all the best comes for the dyno and it is here to STAY but there are some cheap fawks around here that talk big and still buy melted pistons and bad blocks from CKY89. i can’t wait for it to get up and rolling and see some of our the german muscle up on it.
