HAHA you guys are so funny. I got the keys!!! Got some work done and also realized how much work is to be done. The house is located by harlem and seneca. I already bought a new garage door opener and a fresh set of cordless power tools. Replaced a few outlets throughout, hung new blinds in the bedroom, blew up my new bathroom, drank a few beers and decided enough was enough.
I have alot of hack jobs to repair. The electrical in the basement is a disaster, the garage needs some love inside, Im getting new appliances delivered, and the carport sheathing is made of OSB and it is expanded like a motherfucker. I am having my buddy come look at the driveway next week since it is pitted and destroyed in a few spots.

I think once I move in and get comfortable it will feel good. These next few nights in my apartment are going to drive me nuts.

I’m going to buy a shop vac tomorrow, this house is disgusting! The garage is getting a very thorough cleaning tomorrow as well as the basement. You know your getting old when your super pumped to install a new garage door opener.

Good luck with your projects. My older brother bought a house a few years ago, and it seems like quite the addicting process fixing/ adding new things until you’re satisfied. I’ll be on the search myself in the next year or so.

get one at lowes. don’t know the exact specs. but it is around 80$ . its a 5.5hp one or something, on the smaller side. has a blue bottom and gray top. this one surpasses any other brand or size, regardless of the others horsepower.
i dont feel like going outside right now but i will edit this post tomorrow with the specs. srsly it’s the best one evar.

If you need a snow blower I have an old school toro 524 with a 2 year old 5hp briggs/stratton that im thinking about selling. Real cheap, talking like $150-$175. Its ugly but it does the job. Had no problem clearing the 3ft we got from that big storm last year.
