Through my gf’s work they are sending everyone on this cruise (including myself) for free/all airfare, etc. included.
The one question I do have, is they told us it’s all inclusive. Does that include drinks?
I mean if not, no big deal since it’s free, dropping 500 on bar tab would even things out but still just curious.
that depends on what they have worked out with the cruise line. all your food is included, even some drinks like lemonade, water and fruit punch. Carnival has a Pop pass for like 20 bucks for the whole week. You can drink unlimited pop. if you do have to pay for drinks, get the specials, usually 2 for 1. Stay away from the $15 dollar monkey coconut drink that my wife HAD to have. Only things you will need cash for on the boat is spa stuff, the gift shop and alcohol or pop.
I packed a couple big bottles in the suitcase, and carried a flask around the boat. Get a coke on the pass and add a little octane boost.
If you buy booze at the port or on the boat, they won’t let you have it till you get home.
true, there was another thread about bringing booze on board, if you wanna go even further, empty bottles of cheap champage or shampoo. The cruise line websites say they have the right to inspect bags. But it also says you are entitled up to 2 bottles of champage per person I think.
I’m not a drinker, I think I had a grand total of 6 bottles of Bass while I was there, she had a “drink of the day” every day but the last one. Oh, I had some shittttttty XX beer in mexico, but it was at a bar in a swimming pool, so that made it a little better.
yeah, I started to drink a beer with dinner and some other drink each day. other than that, I drunk pop off my wifes pass. the first 3 days we drank like man. bill was 350.
only way to sneak booze on board is to put it on your body… usually have to put it in your undies or something creative…
last time i went we bought a big bottle of scope + food coloring at a local drug store on barbados… we then emptied out the scope and put grey goose in there (got a gallon of it for like 15 bux) a couple drops of green food coloring, and Voila, they passed it through the bag check when reboarding no problem… they did however open it up and smell it, but i think the cap had enough residual mouthwash that it still smelled like mint… if i were to do it again i would figure out how to make it smell like mint… perhaps buy aftershock
when i finally settle down and find someone who i can stand for more than a couple months, i’ll definitely book one of these. Totally not worth it to bring a slampig who will do the same dirty things after a night at the pink.
Even an all inclusive didn’t cover the drinks on the cruise and some restaurants that were on the ship. Drinks were expensive and each drink had 15% added onto it for gratuity For My friend and I the bill was 1200 by the end of the week.:banghead:
My gf is going on the Jills cruise in May, I so want to see if I can grab a ticket and go…
I’ve gone on 2 cruises with my parents and they are so much damn fun. Get smashed every night and hit up Johnny rockets at 3am, nothing better…
After asking, looks like all food is included for us, but no beverages. I’d be interested to hear how I can get about a gallon of Capt on board though…
I’ve heard the shampoo thing, my parents bought beer & coke at one port and just carried it on and nobody stopped em but I imagine they were just lucky.
