RSM are a MUST replacement item on these cars. I would also change the RTAB’s and reinforce the rear subframe. For the RSM I went with ground control units and for RTAB’s I went with UUC’s offerings. For the Rear subframe, Turner motorsports has some plates for $85 that can be welded in place.

If you are looking for decently priced mods, check out DDMtuning.com. They run specials for M bumpers for $115 shipped. I have bought multiple items from them and couldnt be happier with them.

??? i got confused when i first read bentley used to reference bmw and eventually i figured out what they meant, but never had the chance to ask why, any ideas?

I drag race my car on a normal basis and i have yet to need any kinda rear subframe reinforcement.

The best bet is to replace all your worn bushings with OEM rubber replacements. The only reason people tear out there subframes is because they think there cars are track cars (some are) and replace everything with solid or stiffer poly bushings which in return puts more abuse/load on the subframe.

So, for a Daily car with no problems you can race on the weekend, id suggest against aftermarket bushings. Well, unless you wanna go through it and weld in reinforcemnts.
