I’d hate to loose that sound.
just drive it and worry about being a good father when the day comes. REALLY, you need to get control over your life. I understand you might be a car guy and “enjoy” working on them. BUT you could have bought and older car with out a car payment. What are you trying to prove here? that you will be in debt for a long time or you have ALOT of confindance in someone will always be there to help you out $$.
Anyone who has bought a house, wedding ring, remodeled house, bought a welder (and X amount of mile b/c shipping was to much), supercharged his car, bought another car for his spouce, bought another car, doesnt sound like you are ready for anything but showing off on the internet. Sorry, you use this site like a like it is you blog…come on. Sorry for the rant, but please open your eye’s. I enjoy some of your post.
Man I hate people that judge other peoples lives like they have a fucking clue about their financial position.
I think this is the perfect post to follow this.
How do you know what his wife and him want out of life?
come on meow
Seriously Dan? Bryan doesnt sound like the one who needs to get control…
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
It’s funny when someone actually gives some solid advice but nobody hears it that way. I guess it’s because it’s the internet, if it isn’t better, cooler, or different from what the next guy has to say, then nobody cares. :bloated:
“Cuz fuck it, I went to Jacob with 25 thou
Before I had a house and I’d do it again
Cuz I wanna be on 106 and Park pushin a Benz
I wanna act Ballerific like it’s all terrific
I got a couple past due bills
I won’t get specific
I got a problem with spendin’ before I get it
We all self concience
I’m just the first to admit it”
x…
:deadhorse2:, it is the internet. I didnt comment on his financial position. NO where did i mention numbers. It is all based on facts, :rolljerk:.
When you make a purchase like this, it has to be a sign of wealth or long term debt on a depreciating asset.
All I am saying brian, dont justify it ( not like i care ) you bought the car other then you just wanted it.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
HE GOT WHAT HE WANTED!!!
LOL its life man, sometimes people make what is not he best long term decision based on what will make them happy! You can’t put a definitive line on this or we would all live on ramen and drive econoboxes!!!
If it’s a manageable payment, and he is confident that it won’t hurt his wallet beyond his comfort level, then why shouldn’t he buy it?
It doesn’t have to be a statement of wealth…It could just be him wanting a good family sized car with a high perf level
Another fun fact is that I have never sold a car for less then what I paid.
I know he got a great deal and he is not going to wake up and have an M5 worth $0 He will be able to drive this car for 3-4 years and not take a hit over 5-7k. If he bought some brand new econo pos you wouldn’t be saying shit and he would still take a bigger loss over 3-4 years.
I don’t understand why people are talking shit over this…
It’s not like he lives at home in his parents basement…
OMG, he bought what he wanted with his own money, call the police! :tantrum:
As for his ‘long term debt on a depreciating asset’, I am willing to bet the percentage of resale value on his M5 will be greater than many other used vehicles of that age/mileage/condition in 3-4 years, BMWs hold their value very well.
I can’t believe someone is so ‘concerned’ about somebody else’s finances, what a good friend!:roll2:
he didn’t even spend THAT much money
there are plenty of ppl on here with cars worth 35k+
let me be the 1st to say CONGRATS! But I am also the 1st one why wasnt there a poll about the purchase?
I would have thought you would have bought a hyundai genesis.
My buddy picked up his 745i for a steal as well…
