went to go start my winter beater....

and ran it threw the gears while it got nice and warm, checked fluids, e-brake etc., its an AUTO, and when in reverse, made a small whining sound, put the ebrake on and listened for the noise, and its from the top of the tranny. the fluids on full and in great shape (flushed in march). i know manual trannys have different shaped teeth on gears for reverse and 1-5, but i havnt heard of an auto whining. i looked up a few things online and i guess from sitting for a while, there may be an air pocket in the front pump of the tranny, and after driving a couple of miles it works it way out. i have never rebuilt a tranny so idk what a front pump is

any input?
