Decided to try out the new motor (hi-comp ka) at the drag strip,
turns out i need a new clutch haha,
1st run, 15.69 @142 km/h
2nd run, 15.86 @140 km/h
3rd run, 16.07 @138 km/h
4th run, 16.13 @141 km/h
clutch was slipping a fair bit right from the beginning, then just got worse as the night went on haha,
oh well, something buy to come spring time
my stock ka with a intake and stock exhaust far 15.5… all i did was advance the timing a little bit
once i get a clutch that doesn’t slip it should be much better times,
rpms would stay steady at around 6000 in 3rd with the speed slowly climbing lol
Turns out you need turbo too :o
I was suppose to go too. When I was changing to my good tires the damn wheel stud broke and I spent 1 hour putting in a new one, by then it was too late to reach the track

your clutch sucks mark. i’m pretty sure the car has a 15.0 in it, it pulled decently once when the clutch didn’t slip. let me know if you want a hand whenever you do the clutch.
my stock KA did 15.5@89mph with just intake and advanced timing, i’m guessing pantaloons racing is talking about the same car (sold it to him).
and what’s with the trap speed reading in km/h?
i know, i can’t stand the trap speed in km/h but thats what sparta prints it out as
