Without modified Hondas I am pretty confident that the modified import scene would not be anywhere near where it is today. We all had to start somewhere. Hondas are cheap to modify, the motors hold up reasonably well to the HP increases, and there are extensive knowledge-bases all over the internet for the noobs. They’re not ideal, but like I said, pretty damn good start.
Nice to see some positive feedback on this. Along with Boardjnky4’s. Post started as a laugh but it’s interesting to see people’s thoughts on the topic. Hondas are not only cheap to modify but cheap and easy to repair. The Honda hate is a little out of hand.
You’re talking to people on here who have done the whole “honda/import scene” 5-10+ years ago. What do you expect? Also who fucking cares what one likes? To each his own.

Although I will say the hate for Volkswagen retards seems to trump Honda kids these days. Mainly because stance is even worse than Honda kids attempting to make their cars fast.
I hardly run around hating gm/domestics, a few quips aside. I appreciate them for what they are. And truthfully, I am not “butt hurt” in the least, I just often find that people hate things without even understanding why half the time, just to look cool, and it’s ignorant. But don’t worry, I promise you my day will go on unaffected by this.

06’-10’ is the last time I cared and owned one so yes I fall under that category. You obviously suck and are butt hurt enough to feel the need to start a thread like this.
