This is true. Any car can be lame and (almost) any car can be cool. It’s all in your personal preference. As long as you choose and build your car for yourself, and not for other people to think is cool, you’re golden. Just brush off the haters because no matter what you own, there’s always someone who will think its lame. Personally I love Hondas. They are cheap to build, simple and fun to work on, and their suspension lends well to tuning. No, they aren’t the most amazing cars ever made, and they can’t be the jack of all trades. But they are easy to have fun with and they take a beating. Love them or hate them, Hondas are a good bang for your buck. I’m probably not going to be super into Hondas forever, but once I move onto bigger and better things I’ll never hate on them because Ive had plenty of fun in them. Again it all comes down to personal preference. To each their own.

personally, I think Honda’s are the shit. And not because of owning an s2k, but the fact that they produce some very good quality vehicles, very inexpensive upgrades that can make the car faster and better at handling over these extremely expensive cars that would cost the same stock. To hate on a company that can give you an amazing 1/4 mile time for very cheap and being extremely easy to fix… not sure you really are into the “car scene” then.

honda’s were never cool, they were always pure IMO
people tried to make them cool, in which case most of the time(save a few people) it ended up being a big fail.
i think what honda does for getting people into the tuning/racing scene(autocross, track, drag, motocross) however it may be, you cant deny that they do a whole hell of a lot for the “sport” or whatever you want to call it

My friends mom actually did own a 95 eg coupe and bought it brand new. I thought it was cool, bc it was stick shift, just like my dads alfa. When you’re 11, stick shift = SPORTS CAR!
