Let me give ya a little bit of advice from a ummm “seasoned guy” if you are going to mod something att least mod something that has a chance of if not being worthless when your done. You dont have to necessarily make it appreciate but at you at least dont want it to lose a ton of value.
I think it’s pretty clear to you now. I can relate though as my DD is a '91 Tercel that also has a 1.5L, 4 cylinder. Not a fun ride by any means, but it gets the job done. That’s all you really will want from your Protege.
The only reason I could ever afford two cars is because I have free tuition here at RIT and a whole parking lot to keep both in, though the lack of a garage isn’t exactly great…
Drive the mazda enjoy the mileage, Save your paper route money, buy an F Bod, grow a mullet, listen to disturbed and then sir will become like a fucking rock star
Haha pauly you seemed like a dick before but suddenly it’s all very clear to me, I should’ve seen it in your avatar. Let me put it this way, I’m waiting til I have enough money to make it worth my while but someday I’ll have a 69 charger, challenger, camaro SS, or mustang grace my garage, don’t worry. For now though, i’ll just play with the cheaper toys.
I’m really not trying to be a dick. I’ve been there and put way too much money into unworthy projects. I think of all the money i’ve spent on cars not worth the money that i could have put towards something so much more worth while
well yeah, don’t they check for that before letting you buy one?
@ pauly: I know what you mean, I just wish there was an easy way to get at least like 120 HP out of it. As much of a piece of junk as the prizm was, it at least had some pep to it
