What chainsaw to buy????

My pops is looking to buy a chain saw. Just wondering what brand is the best.
Thanks in advance

just for trees or do you need to cut through bone also?

I got a almost brand new craftsman 18 incher. bought last year during the storm, used once. wanna buy it?

No bones, just prob 6" to 8" trees at most. How much for the craftsman. He is prob. looking to buy new but it cant hurt.
Thanks

Stihl has worked great for me.

nice saws, cheaper at tractor supply than anyway else.

This 16in will be fine for average home owner. Or jump to the 18 is he needs a bit more.

HARBOR FRIGHT! …if the only limbs you wish to cut are your own. Otherwise Stihl.

Husqvarna

Check Lowes for PRos G

Good stuff

Dolmar = the best.

Stihl was a german immigrant to the US and he invent the chain saw.

My collection only includes Stihl.
All the others are just copycats.
I have cut down literally thousands of trees with my Stihl chain saws.
I will say that ECHO makes a good saw.

stihl, all the tree guys i know use them

The Stihl was what I’ve always used, even at conservation school. 50" bar makes short work of anything.

we all know that you are the scary jason guy in the hunted catacombes and you want to chop all our heads off.:lolham::lolsign:

dolmar = light weight + sacs motor

i have looked at many and used many. this is by far the best over all saw.

Andreas Stihl developed the first electric chain saw in 1926

Emil Lerp formed it due to his development of the world’s first petrol chain saw in 1927

Husqvarna or Stihl

I have used Stihl and Craftsman to clear over 2acres of thick wooded area.

The craftsmans tending to overheat with heavy 12hr sawing and bound up quite a bit more than the Stihl.

I dont have any experience with the other saws mentioned

Stihl FTW
