Zep, not sure if you were already informed, as the thread is already deleted, but this was the email everyone was talking about. He even had the nerve to say it wasn’t spam. I would hope that Admins from now on have a little bit more tact and not spam its members with “services” from now on.
I can understand your fustration noodleman. But still, it is an offer only available to TNC members, so maybe some other members were glad to recieve it and actually took advantage of it. Either way im not choosing sides. I could see why you would be upset too. It could have been posting in a classifieds section but it wasnt. But im not trying to dictate how this forum runs and im sure no ones losing any sleep over it. If i wasnt still with Telus for another year i would take advantage of this offer!

I have no problems with admins posting offers of services on the forum, but if they’re using the admin emails for it, i, among many others, see it as spam. The thread on the classified forum was enough of an announcement i would think (it was on the classied forum, which I had no problem with).
I’m sure that most people would agree that Admin emails should be used strictly for forum related issues (forum downtimes for example) and club event announcements.

You think to call me for assistance BUT… the contact info for ONI-JDM is advertised that month to assist with changing the clutch. HOW CONVENIENT.

actually ive been talking to my friend and we have 12 girls for a callender shoot. im going to be organizing it and we need 12 cars of course and we will make a callender. i have a yacht available for use also. so next year we will do it for sure begining of the year. . so no worries…

There was on girl on here that got sick of looking in the Models thread (filled with girls) and posted up a bunch of guys in underwear washing a car. Everyone shunned the girl. Shorteaz followed up with re-posting that exact same pic as a re-butte. There’s no place for girls here.
I just got my gf into buying an S13. She’s looking to buy one next year and she’s interested in how I’ve made my car and actually likes working on it. She’s wants to do things like that to her car but there is no place for her to get the proper support without an improperly dressed girl in every corner. I’m for the improperly dressed girls but I’m more for getting females into this community.

Sure, women are usually car models, but why must you put car models on the calendar pictures?
If someone pays $10 for a membership where they get a calendar, but they don’t want the calendar because it has girls in it, then they’re throwing out their money. Lets say they become a member specifically for the calendar, only to get the calendar and realize it is not what they want? Is that means for a refund? I’m hoping that they aren’t just making a membership only for the calendar, but lets say they do.

and to a point, i agree that we should keep it at just cars for the calender, but that doesn’t stop us from doing two calenders where the person can choose what calender they’d like.
