ummmm…
IDK, i never ran into anything… Maybe from driving over small icy snowbanks?
my muffler fell off but it was getting bad before winter. the cold just made it break off easier. one of my automatic seat belt motors wouldn’t stop going up and down so I just disabled it so its always up.
-More truck rust under the spoiler
-Side marker corroded out and was shorting out my tail lights and plate lights/blowing fuses
-Slave cylinder went, easy job
-Rear bumper sagged a bit front snow/slush and ice being packed up in it, stretched the mounts
-Random dents and dings
-Destroyed every wiper
Fixed evrything, just need to have a crack at that bumper and I dont know what I’m going to do about the dings yet… maybe see the dent wizards.
rock chips on the front of my truck
fucking weak
my taurus is actually in much better shape than at the beginning of winter when I got it.
-chech engine light stopped coming and going
-new tires
-new ball joints/link pins
-runs awesome from being driven after sitting for 6 months
Hmm not 1 thing happend to my truck, no more rust, no dents, nada!
Exhaust rusted to the point the pipes snapped off at the cat.
this is why i tuck my evo away in the garage
it killed my amp, fcker
the rust on the rear quarters of the blazer got worse, which ill be repairing in spring. other then that nothing besides normal maintenence. the zr2 is a winter driving beast.
Just kind of ate away at the inner plastics of my front wheel wells as my snow tires rub a tiny bit at full lock
broken exhaust hanger, took a hose clamp and tightened down to the control arm =p whole car is like a giant massage chair everytime i hit the gas =)
you attached your exhaust to a control arm?
yeah on the neon theres the 4 rear ones, the exhaust is right above them, happend in ub parkin lot, had a clamp and flathead in my car and went to work, hasnt fell down since and the cars off the road at the end of april and goes into storage, works for me
My truck- Needed new alternator, Shocks and struts went, carpet soggy as shit. The Gf’s cavalier- Exhaust hanger broke, wouldn’t start up the one day, carpet soggy as shit and now there is a funky smell because of it, also the mysterious yellow dots are all over it.
^my eclipse had that last winter, I heard its from the plows (metal bits from grinding on the road) I just took a buffer to it in the spring and they all came out. They are just on the surface of the clearcoat
more rust is about it for le cackord. also, I’ve got a wheelbearing that should have been done months ago
this is her first/last winter, I just never got around to getter a winter car haha
They use sand here in Mass, so the inside of my car is like the beach.
