Dude! That looks awesome!! :wow

thanks :hug

Changed the title to be a little more appropriate for year around!

Installed a USB charger for long trips, so Pandora doesn’t kill the battery.

Old sprocket mounted to make the new (short) chain fit.

43 teeth VS 46 teeth.

Much better for a long highway trip anyway. I’m at 6K rpm @ 75 mph.

Vlad, you riding to the beach?

Looks like it :lol

Long trips I always expect something to happen though.

Just made sure I got AAA coverage squared away.

i was looking forward to riding with him but looks like the small issues im havbing with the bike will prevent that so im trailing it down to myrtle and fixing it down there

Oh, sorry to hear. I hope you can sort it out and have fun.

yea wheel bearing issue hopefully it comes in on friday so i can just put it in and then i have a random stalling issue im looking over all the wiring at work right now shortening the wires too cuz mine was a 650s and i made it naked so theres alot of extra wire to cut out

Made a single axis gyro mount for my GoPro camera. Still a couple small tweaks to get it perfect, but it is definitely going to work awesome. Can’t wait to hit the track at Indy MotoGP and get some awesome action video.

A quick close-up of the pivot setup. It is a specially machined shaft welded to a radial ball bearing. I may switch to a sealed radial ball bearing but that may have too much resistance… not sure on the plan yet… needs some further testing.

^LOL, nice. You will need to rig it to a servo and gyo…

This cost me nothing to build… where-as a servo / gyro (electronic) setup would be upwards of $300-$400 for a decent setup. This works great as it is. My only concern when doing it was a pendulum effect after recovering from a lean, but my test video this morning proved it was not an issue at all. I’m very happy with it.

And the bracket will be modified… it was just something I welded / threw together quick as a test.

Vibration is also a concern. Get some hydraulic shocks for RC cars and experiment with valving and oil weight. This could work, get it done before INDY! :excited
