Well out of having noting to do for a few hours, I popped the headers & the woodcraft on the R6 switched from a black tail to a blue one again. Gotta say the stock headers with the CAT were heavier than I thought! I could feel the change in weight on the bike as I moved it. Still not as light as a BMW S1000RR :lmao
how do the headers sound?
you sure? the BMW’s dry weight is 400lb, the R6 is around 366lb
my ECU will be flashed and shipped back to me soon. I’ll be sure to post up.
Actually the R6 weight last time I had my bike checked out was 466.
the BMW when I was testing one out felt as light as a 250 to me. CRAZY I know, but the bike felt SOOOO much lighter than the R6. Such an amazing bike I will get a BMW some how.
Just finished installing all my new parts, just waiting on the new ECU.

Since I’m trying to keep my bike, got a few things I wanna do over winter/early spring…
Get my forks done. Gonna probably have Phibbs do it since I don’t trust myself. Gonna have my gas tank painted to match the Rossi fairings, getting new sprocket set + chain … even though I just installed a set last year, I don’t like the gearing and fugged it all up, already got new OEM mirrors coming since the previous owner put fake carbon fiber ones on it, doing an oil change, coolant flush, and getting my front tire mounted.

Trying super hard to keep the bike, however, I won’t be able to afford track days this year. Saddens me how close NYST is, but I just can’t afford it. Fingers crossed for next year. :banghead

No it’s supposed to look like that.
He means that the bottom riveted part of the muffler is actually the highest chance for an impact if he were to go down, so he needs 2 (1 for the tip, one for the lower shaft)
