On the track around 5500 or so- its hard for me to pay attention to the tach. On the street I just shift it whenever I feel like it.
I wanted a 12 second car, not a low 14 second car. Ive had more fun riding my quad in the past few weeks than Ive had in the 2 years Ive owned the Mustang.
i don’t let people touch my shit. whenever i do i end up regretting it and it would cost me less to try it on my own and learn. Case in point = George’s Upholstery.
Ive tried working on my own shit more but I just fuck shit up and get aggravated and then fuck more shit up and end up paying somebody to fix it anyway.
I dont mind doing shit like disc brakes (wont touch drums), oil changes, etc. I did the whole 5 lug swap on the Mustang, a clutch swap and a bunch of other shit on it too but I dont get into motors.
there are PLENTY of guys out there who just write checks and still have completely badass cars. Just don’t be surprised when you have to spend some $$.
