If you think your injectors are clogged get them sent out cleaned and flow tested its like 100 bucks to get done as long as the selonoid isnt fucked the injector is fine…

I was going to buy a red top Optima. I would rather replace it once and not have to think about it for a long time. I’m not sure to what extent the rack/pinion can be rebuilt, I know they replace the seals and whatnot but mine is fucked up from an impact.
The injectors on the 90-92 Z’s are the old pintle style injectors and they start failing around the same time. Mine have about 130k on them and I’ve already replaced one and another is just starting to fail. I have to pull the plenum to get to alot of stuff anyways so I want to swap the injectors while its off, instead of later having to do dremel the plenum to get to the injector caps.
id spend the extra cash and get the yellow top at least. iirc the red tops arent deep cycle.
