Epfail is ugly as a mofo
Ima smoke all your shits
:facepalm
what did I do to my car today? well, yesterday.
buttoned everything up, plan on starting it tonight
woot
Huge smokey burnout.
I eyed up a DEEP puddle and accelerated into it
fixed
cancelled the insurance, and surrendered the plates.
wired in some 470ohm resistors and 360* led’s in the dash lights. was my first electrical task ive ever done! very happy with the turnout didnt realize soldering could be so easy! also detailed the interior of the truck
Had a new invidia q300 cbe put on Sounds purdy.
be carefull when wiring shit to the brake lights and what not it does wierd shit to the cruise controll and whatnot .cause the cruise is tied in to the brake switch to turn off ,if the voltage is wrong the cruise wont turn off kid:thumbup. just a friendly forewarning
Started taking it apart…
this was all the 12v lights that illuminate the dash nothing to do with brake lights.i had afew of them out i dont think im changin the voltage just running less through the lights so they dont go poof. it has been done by many of the guys on another forum with no problem and their were lots of pictures to help idiots like me do it!
we had one in the other day ,he put in l.e.d for the third brake light and it sent the truck nuts lololololol. took all day figuring it out and when we put the stocker back in it went fine
yeah i dont like the outside led’s i am not sure if they run resistors in them or not. i have heard of several ppl with older trucks having issues with their elecrical once the led exterior lights were installed
figured id throw a pic up
Looks bright man! :lol
470 Ohm should be good, all bare LEDs need a resistor or current limiting circuit/diode. Some LED modules have them built in though.
yeah they were turned all the way up for the pic but they still dim with the switch! they look sick in person! alot better than they did!
throwing in some upgraded rear control arms after class
turned the wick up!
