kid’s legit. had mine done for the second time friday night. I dropped car off friday night filthy, caked with bugs and rubber, and picked up sat morning 7am. price was fucking excellent and the work was wonderful.
car is now in same condition as when i dropped it off though :rofl :rofl oops.
It’s almost like painting a house. If you blow through the prep work and just lather the paint on the walls, it’s going to come out like shit and not last.
I personally don’t care enough for my DD to do paint correction on it. Of course the Toyota you have there is a completely different story, heh.
Brought it to Otto Cadillac (dealer who rebuilt my front end) for the mysterious popping/snapping noise and various banging coming from the front end.
Turns out the engine cradle bolts were loose. They tightened those up and now it feels like a whole new car again! I’m stoked.
5/5 for this dealer’s service dept as well. Staff is not only very friendly but also knowledgeable. When I took this to Depaula they said it was normal tire noise and that all cars do it :rofl DIAF.
jump started it, drove it 200 yards to the busy traffic light at the end of my street, it stalled out when i pulled the clutch in as it sometimes does naturally wouldn’t start, leaving me in the turning lane with traffic surrounding me.
Got my new mount on. Tested out the new throttle cable adjustment. Holy fack the gas pedal is sensitive now! I kinda panicked the first time I launched and almost stalled:rofl. Idle is still the same though, so the job was done right. Guess I just gotta get use to it, eh? Also, not trusting this “mechanic” my friend sent me to to get my first mount done ever again. He’s the reason I had to do this. Dumb ass put the driver side mount on the passenger side.
