Saturday you choad

just cleaned it all up. it was like 2mm over the metal rail at hoffmans LOL, barely made it in there. guys were asking me to take the front plate off too. heh. man, this winter is going to be interesting. car’s goin to leave wet trails in the snow with the exhaust.

Threw on my snows at midnight last night, only to have it not snow like it was supposed to.

Placed a snowbrush inside the cabin of said vehicular asset.

Never seen your car in person, but if you can make it onto
the track at Hoffmans, you have a long way to go until your car is low.

If even allow your car to go on the track at hoffmans, you have a long way to go…

hollaaaaaaaaaa

+1

Do you not have coilovers that allow the ride height to be raised and non-goofy-fitment wheels for winter driving?

He has sweet drop springs

Oh.

Dumb.

no coilovers on mine. dampers and springs. the bumpers are higher than the “belly” tho. it cant make it over most speed bumps. plus, i dont want to deal with coilovers. im not going to lift it for winter and lower it for summer each time. im going to figure out the parts and stuff for an airride and just use that. with an airride, ill go as low as i want and as high as i want, i wont have to carry boards with me all the time, either. its much better for what I need than coilovers. now, if there was an electrically actuated set that just sprins them down/up as much as bags, i’d be game for that. as far as fitment, for now, it just needs spacers. come look at my car in person, and youll see what i mean.

Do bags handle as well as coilovers?

doubt it, but i dont race, car is never seeing track time(straight line or twisties), it handles good enough for a daily.

Ive seen track tests of air bagged cars in magazines and surprisingly they handled pretty well.

I dont expect lotus handling from it. its a luxury car, afterall. from reading about em, its enough for what i want to get out from it.

Dude I dont know anyone with coilovers that carries boards with them :lol
